Absent Again

May 22, 2010

Sorry, but I’m apparently going away for the week (again). It’s kind of a pain how I always seem to be forced to travel to random locations and abandon whatever it is I’ve worked on, then come back a week later and have to start from scratch. Let’s hope that this time I don’t take a month to actually start posting again.

I’ll have to skip the Movie You’ve Never Heard Of post I was working on, as it still isn’t quite finished. Posting some music to make up for Monday, at least.

Maledicent Mondays

May 17, 2010

So I was cruising some of the older folders crammed into the darker recesses of my computer, and I found an old music folder with a bunch of great tunes I’d completely forgotten about. Needless to say, Mondays will be a pushover for a while.

Let’s use today for some Swedish power metal.

EDIT: I just learned that Ronnie James Dio died yesterday, and am posting an extra song in tribute. RIP, Dio, you’re immortalized in your music.

Let There Be Classics

April 7, 2010

I have no clue what to post today, so I’m just going to throw some classics at you instead of waiting for next monday.

Another random line of dead pixels has appeared down my laptop’s monitor. Joy. Feel free to waste some time playing the game below.

Motatorious Monday

April 5, 2010

All the contrary, actually. Have some music.

An instrumental version of ‘Bird and the Worm’ was used in the trailer for the remake of Clash of the Titans, in case some of you were finding it familiar.

"I am sorry, Mr. Neeson, I simply cannot hear you over the sound of how awesome I am."

June 30, 2009

Wow, I suck with deadlines. Here goes. Mellowed out a bit for this week.

That’s it for now. See you later.

Mudkip Mondays

June 15, 2009

Hey there everyone. No time to chat today. Just want to post some music. All of the same genre. Soilwork is ridiculously amazing. I hope you enjoy it. I certainly did. 🙂

EDIT: Here it is, Thursday. Here’s the other song that I wanted to UpLoAd, but it was a .m4a file, which the embedded music player can’t read. So, here it is. Shadows Fall is also ridiculously amazing. Vocals aren’t as good though.
I think Tamarti had something in mind as well. We’ll see what he does.
EDIT2: Like the new player colours? Retroactively updating all posts.

Magical Mondays

June 8, 2009

Okay, so. This here is the second installment of our very own Musical Mondays. For your listening pleasure, I’ve got for you some Pantera. I hope you like it, but you probably won’t.

Thanks to Saxon for taking initiative and starting this. I, on the other hand, am having a really lazy day thanks to stomach flu. Huzzah. These two songs were both actually songs i heard on my radio alarm clock as I was waking up, so it was quite the miracle to remember and find them. Still, they’re catchy.

You should also know that Saxon is trying new stuff so there’s a next button on his stream, thus having both songs in one player. Let us know which of these two ways is more convenient, and we’ll stick to it.
